Possible Props/Set Dressing?……
I collected these for my degree show installation, I haven’t looked at them recently but I’m pretty sure I still have them all up North somewhere. Would any of them be useful if I can get hold of them?
Suicide bomber sequence; GS foreground elements & background plate.
I went to shoot some background plates today at an anticuts protest. Unfortunately it was windy and all the focus was on the speakers rather than the group chanting.
This mapplet shows the thermal damage caused by a nuclear explosion. Search for a place, pick a suitable weapon and press “Nuke It!”.
Although it doesn’t offer the 80-100kt yield that the Trident warheads deliver.
Egypt Protests
Synopsis
A nuclear bomb is detonated in Scotland, it is unclear who is responsible and the country has descended into chaos. Amid this a pregnant woman, Carrie, is trying to find shelter for herself and her boyfriend Rob who was badly injured in the blast. She reluctantly turns to her old love, a survivalist called Duncan, who is holed up in a bunker in the Scottish countryside. Carrie, Rob and Duncan have all been part of Scotland’s peace movement and while they are struggling to survive they are also trying to find out the truth about who was behind the blast; foreign attackers, terrorists or even our own government. This is a close knit interpersonal story set against the backdrop of a war ravaged country.
Logline:
A pregnant woman struggles to find direction after a nuclear blast decimates Scotland. Locked in a bunker with a jaded survivalist and her dying boyfriend she faces tough choices in this brutally changed world.
